Many classes at CCP are very popular and fill up quickly. We also are very limited on space for participants. For some classes there are packets and materials that must be purchased in advance for distribution at the class.
To register for a class at CCP, effective May 1st 2013 class participants will be requested to pay for the class at the time of registration to secure a place in the class. This can be done by using a credit card online using a secure payment site (PayPal).
Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions about our CCP Class Refund Policy:
When I come in for a class that I paid for online, what should I bring for admittance?
Please save and print your payment confirmation for admittance to the class. This is how we know you have paid and serves as your ticket.
What if I find out that I can’t make the class after I have signed up and paid for it?
If you should need to cancel your participation in one of our classes after having registered and paid for the class, in order to get a refund or a credit towards another class, you must notify CCP at least two full working days before the class is to be held. For example, a class that is run on a Saturday morning, we must be notified of your cancellation by no later than Wednesday night.
What if I completely forget about the class and do not show up? What if something comes up at the very last minute and I can’t make the class, can I still get a refund?
The short answer to these questions is ‘no’ because materials and your spot had been reserved for that particular class. That said, we also understand that especially with kids things come up last minute. For the first last minute cancellation or no show to a class, the particular circumstance will be evaluated individually and a class participant may be given a refund or a ‘credit’ to use for another class. If a class participant has had more than one no show or cancellation over a two year period, no refund or credit will be given.
Why does CCP need so much notice?
This notice will allow us to call a parent who may be on our waiting list as well as keep our class facilitator apprised of their class size. As you might expect, the benefit for many of our classes is the social aspect of meeting other parents. So in many cases, the class facilitators require a minimum number of class participants. If the class does not have the minimum number of participants, the class may be canceled and rescheduled for a later time.
What if the class I signed up for is canceled by CCP or the instructor?
Anyone that has paid for a class in advance but the class has been canceled by CCP or the class facilitator will be eligible for a credit towards the same or a different class or a full refund. To the extent possible, class participants will be notified at least one full working day in advance if the class needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
