Does your infant demonstrate difficulty with nursing or bottle feeding? Have they had, or is the pediatrician recommending, a frenotomy? Are they feeding inefficiently? Our Oral Motor/Feeding Skills workshop is for you.
Targeting newborns to infants 5 months of age, this class will promote early, healthy motor skills necessary to improve breast and bottle feeding, as well as to prepare for solid foods. Special focus will be paid to exercises, positioning, and movement support.
The class will be facilitated by Jaclyn Polakoff, M.S., CCC-SLP. Jaclyn has a private practice where she supports breast and bottle feeding families with oral-motor therapy, provides pre- and post-frenotomy therapy, fosters readiness for solid foods, and treats infants/young children with challenging feeding disorders.
The class is $25 for 1 adult with an infant. An initial evaluation with Jaclyn should be completed before your class date. Advance registration is required.
