Facilitated by Linda Derbyshire, IBCLC
How do you know if your baby is getting enough? What if your nipples hurt? Is it normal for your baby to be feeding all the time? What if you’re having difficulty with the latch? Breast or bottle, you are likely asking yourself one of these questions right now. That’s why we’re happy to offer what we call “The Best Lactation Support Group in Philadelphia”!
Center City Pediatrics and Center City Pediatrics Bala Cynwyd counts feeding questions among some of the most common we hear in our offices. Lactation support is essential, which is why this group remains one of our most popular.
Join Our Interactive Support Group with Philadelphia Lactation Consultant Linda Derbyshire, IBCLC
Our Lactation Support Group is held every Thursday (11am-12:30pm) in our Center City Philadelphia office. During this 90-minute highly interactive discussion, facilitator Linda Derbyshire (IBCLC) will answer your questions and cover the topics most significant to the group. There is no set agenda or outline. Each week is completely different and tailored to the needs of the participants. Breast or bottle – all are welcome! A scale is always available for weight checks.
You do not need to be a patient of either Center City Pediatrics or Center City Pediatrics Bala Cynwyd to participate in our classes.
Each session costs only $15. Advanced registration is absolutely encouraged. Space is limited and walk-ins can rarely be accommodated. Note that online registration closes at 9:00am on Thursday for that day’s group. Please see the calendar for a full listing of class dates and to register online.
