Dr. McQuade, a south Jersey native, graduated Magna Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Saint Joseph’s University in 2011. When she wasn’t studying, she dedicated her time and energy to being a Division I athlete playing Field Hockey for the Hawks. She continued her education there and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Health Care Ethics in 2013.
She crossed back over the Ben Franklin Bridge to earn her medical degree at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in 2017. Due to her husband’s Navy commitments, she ventured down to the Virginia Beach area for her pediatric residency training. Here, Dr. McQuade honed her skills and love for pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia. She loves working with families, especially first-time parents, and has a special interest in lactation training and education to aid mothers with breastfeeding. She enjoys the continuity of care that primary pediatrics allows and getting to know her patient families.
She and her husband, Max, who is an orthopedic surgery resident at Temple, are happy to be back in Philadelphia where it all began! They are the proud parents to one sweet little girl who has given Dr. McQuade much first-hand pediatrics experience. She is thrilled to be part of the Center City Pediatrics team and looks forward to treating children in the city of Brotherly Love!
