Center City Pediatrics is committed to creating a medical home for our patients. This entails providing the highest possible pediatric care while being mindful of the context in which kids live and develop.
Our Approach
Center City Pediatrics offers patients and their families access to pediatric care through friendly phone and email access and convenient office hours. By using our experience, and the latest health information technology, we will strive to keep patients on track with their immunization schedules and all of their other primary preventive health care needs.
We recognize that in our increasingly complex society, pediatrics must focus on the well-being of the entire child, not just individual body systems. Therefore, our care encompasses developmental and psycho-social monitoring. We intend to work with parents and caregivers to assess the developmental trajectory of each individual child. Then, through collaboration with scientific, family and community resources, we strive to help each child reach their potential.
We believe in, and closely follow the guidelines set forth by our certifying organization, The American Academy of Pediatrics. We also promote the guidelines and policies set forth by the Bright Futures National Health Initiative. We are open to discussing different approaches to care, but we feel obligated to work to protect children with the best care that science has to offer. We will help families evaluate the risks and benefits of all interventions in order to help provide what is best for their children.
Finally, in order to serve as much of the community as possible, we will take all major insurances. We will work with families and caregivers to make quality care affordable.
