In keeping with the latest CDC and FDA recommendations, we will now offer the bivalent COVID booster to all patients aged 5 and older, at all 3 of our locations. Please read on for details.
Who can receive the vaccine at Center City Pediatrics?
Only registered patients of our practice who have previously established care are eligible to be vaccinated in our office.
When should the bivalent booster vaccine be administered?
If your child has already received the 1st and 2nd doses of the COVID vaccine, the bivalent booster can be administered as their 3rd dose. If your child has already received the complete 3 dose Pfizer series, the bivalent booster can be administered 2 months after their last dose.
Which COVID vaccine is available at Center City Pediatrics?
We will be offering the Pfizer vaccine.
Can I vaccinate all my children at the same time?
Every child must have their own appointment to receive the COVID vaccine, although you can schedule consecutive times if they are available.
Will all CCP locations be offering the booster?
Yes. All 3 locations will offer the bivalent booster to all eligible patients.
Can my child receive their COVID booster as part of their already scheduled well visit or along with their flu shot?
Yes, as long as the timing of your already scheduled appointment fits within the recommended guidelines outlined above. Simply let the reception team know when you arrive that you wish to have your child receive their COVID bivalent booster. Please note that both the vaccine and the booster require a 15-minute observation period. For well visit appointments, the booster will be administered when you are roomed, before you see your provider.
Is there a cost associated with the vaccine or the booster?
We will not collect any fees or co-pays for your vaccine visit.
How can I schedule my child’s COVID vaccine appointment?
Please contact our office at 215-735-5600 to schedule your booster appointment.
