With that spirit of continuous improvement in mind, we are excited to begin offering Mobile Check-In for all appointments at both our Center City and Bala Cynwyd locations. Mobile Check-In is powered by Phreesia, the same company we trust for on-line bill pay via our website.

The Comfort of Your Home

Two calendar days prior to your appointment, you will receive an email with a secure link asking you to verify your child’s demographics and confirm your insurance information. You can complete your check-in at a time convenient for you in the comfort of your own home using any smart phone, computer or tablet. Didn’t see the message? Not a problem. A second link will be emailed one day prior to your appointment if you miss the first.

Certain appointments require the completion of developmental screening tools. If applicable, these screens will also be included in your Mobile Check-In email. Complete the tools online and the results will be added directly to your child’s electronic medical record, making them available to your provider in advance of your arrival. Spend your time in our office talking to the doctor, not completing paperwork.

Any applicable co-pays or past balances can also be paid via this secure link. Save yourself time when you arrive by handling payment in advance of your visit.

The Convenience of Our Office

When you arrive for your appointment, present your child’s insurance card at the Front Desk to complete your check-in. You will not be asked for any additional information nor will you have to use the check-in pads in the waiting room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to register for Mobile Check-In?

No. This service is available to all families without having to register or enroll. However, we must have a current email address on file for you to participate. Please let us know if your contact information has changed so that we can update our files.

What if I don’t use Mobile Check-In?

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be provided with a PhreesiaPad, similar to a tablet or iPad. You will be asked to verify your child’s demographics, confirm their insurance information and pay any applicable co-pays or past balances directly on the Pad in our waiting room. Any necessary developmental screening tools will be provided to you when you are brought back to your exam room. You will be asked to complete these tools while you wait for your provider.

Is My Information Secure?

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. Both the email link and the PhreesiaPad are secure. Information is transferred directly to your child’s electronic medical record. No information is stored elsewhere. All of your personal information is safeguarded.

Will I Still Need to Use the PhreesiaPads?

At certain visits, you may still be asked to use the PhreesiaPad to complete certain forms, acknowledge receipt of policies and sign consents during the course of your child’s exam. No information is ever stored on these devices. An added bonus? The tablet is encased in an Anti-Microbial shield. No organisms, bacteria or viruses can survive on their surface.
