Scheduling Online for Sick Appointments
Online Scheduling has a very specific purpose – to see children experiencing a limited number of symptoms that have developed and/or worsened overnight. This does not replace the need for you to schedule a sick appointment for a child with unrelated complaints or who has been experiencing symptoms for several days.
With Online Scheduling, you can schedule a morning appointment online using a pop-up that will be accessible on our website. The pop-up will not always be available.
For weekday appointments, the pop-up will be active beginning at 10:30pm on Sunday – Thursday evenings and remain accessible until our office opens the next day. You will have the option to schedule for a sick visit weekdays (except Thursday) between 8:30am-9:00amor 10:30am-11:00am. On Thursdays, appointments will be available between 10:00am-11:00am through Online Scheduling.
For Sunday appointments, the pop-up will be accessible beginning at 6:00pm on Saturdayevening and remain available until our office opens Sunday morning. Appointments will be available between 9:30am – 10:30am on Sundays.
You will not have to register for Online Scheduling or enroll in any additional service. Simply visit our website at the appropriate time and you will see the scheduling pop-up.
Online Scheduling is Easy to Use
Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. At the time you visit ourwebsite, you will have a choice of any remaining available appointment times. Available times are limited to the windows noted above. When the spaces are filled, families will need to contact our office beginning at 8:00am to schedule an appointment later in the day.
When using Online Scheduling, you will be required to provide:
- Parent/Guardian Name, Email and Phone
- Child Name and Date of Birth
- Reason for Visit
Please note that not all symptoms are appropriate for Online Scheduling. When scheduling, you will be asked to select your Reason for Visit from the following list:
- Difficulty Breathing
- Ear Pain
- Sore Throat
- Worsening Fussiness
- Uncontrolled Fever
- Pink Eye
- Instructed by On-Call Physician
As always, in the event of a true medical emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
You will receive an email confirmation of your appointment time. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in. Always bring your child’s insurance card with you.
Online Scheduling is Not For Every Appointment
These appointments have a very specific purpose – to see children experiencing a limited number of symptoms that have developed and/or worsened overnight. If your child has had symptoms present for several days or if your child has multiple unrelated complaints, we ask that you contact our office to schedule a sick appointment.
Likewise, these appointments should not be used simply to accommodate a family’s work, school or travel schedule. A review of concerns outside of the reasons outlined above must be done at a separate appointment. Likewise, siblings can not be seen during these appointments unless they are scheduled separately.
