As part of our commitment to delivering high quality medical care, the staff at Center City Pediatrics believes that periodic well checkups during infancy, childhood and adolescence are essential. These visits are important to assess your child’s growth and development and to discuss all of the topics that contribute to a healthy childhood. Below you will find more information about what you can expect at your 15-year visit.

Center City Pediatrics is a vaccinating practice. We follow the immunization schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. At your child’s visit, they will likely be administered the HPV vaccine, unless they’ve already received 2 doses. There are a number of topics relevant to your child’s growth and development that your provider will discuss with you at this visit. You will find many of these highlighted on our Well Visit Guidelines page. Other emphasized topics discussed at this age include sports, nutrition, sex, drugs, mental health and social media.
