How do you know if your baby is getting enough? What if your nipples hurt? Is it normal for your baby to be feeding all the time? What if you’re having difficulty with the latch? Breast or bottle, you are likely asking yourself one of these questions right now.
We count feeding questions among some of the most common we hear in our offices. Lactation support is essential, which is why this group remains one of our most popular.
Join Our Interactive Support Groups
Our Lactation Support Groups are held most Thursday mornings in our Center City (South Street) Philadelphia office. During this 90-minute highly interactive discussion, facilitator Veronica Briggs will answer your questions and cover the topics most significant to the group. There is no set agenda or outline. Each week is completely different and tailored to the needs of the participants. Breast or bottle – all are welcome! A scale is always available for weight checks.
You do not need to be a patient of our offices to participate in our classes.
Each session costs only $20. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited and walk-ins cannot be accommodated. Note that online registration will close approximately 12 hours before class begins. Please see the calendar for a full listing of class dates and to register online.
