If your child develops severe symptoms such as trouble breathing, unmanageable pain, uncontrollable bleeding, or a situation you feel may be life-threatening, please call 911 immediately.
To schedule a sick visit during office hours, please contact your preferred location by phone:
- South Street: 215-735-5600
- Fishtown: 215-278-2500
- Bala Cynwyd: 610-257-9000
You can choose to schedule a visit directly or – if you are unsure – to speak to a triage nurse that can assess your child’s symptoms and offer advice for treatment.
Sick visits should not be requested through Follow My Health.
We cannot accommodate walk-ins at any location at any time.
Additionally, you can find several helpful resources on our website to guide you in caring for your sick child:
- Our Wait-Worry-Panic Guide: Authored by our own providers to offer guidance on managing the most common illnesses and symptoms.
- Our Medical Library: An extensive, searchable database of vetted resources to help navigate any situation.
- Our Visual Symptom Checker: An interactive tool to find articles and information about a variety of childhood illnesses.
Has your child become sick after hours?
Our Early Access scheduling links are available each weekday morning to schedule for the afternoon and every evening to schedule for the following morning. Check out the policy and self-schedule your child’s sick appointment online.
Of course, if you ever need more personalized assistance when the office is closed, you can reach one of our medical providers or our triage service at any time by calling your preferred location and following the prompts to connect with the on-call provider.
